Embroidery as small as a patch and as large as a pillow (if not larger) are possible with the Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond DeLuxe embroidery machine at NEM. Certification is not necessary, but intro classes will be offered periodically to help new users get comfortable with the machine. As a single needle machine it operates very similarly to a standard sewing machine, so those with some sewing experience may feel comfortable learning independently.
A 48 color set of basic embroidery thread (Brother color palette), bobbins and bobbin thread, basting spray and stabilizers are available to use. We also have hoops in a variety of sizes.
Custom embroidery requires converting an image to a machine compatible file. We now have a copy of Hatch Digitizer for digitizing designs. For more details, see Embroidery digitization.
